Systems Engineer- Integrated Product Team(IPT) Lead

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional coordination for the design, procurement, and production of Engineering Development Models (EDMs) for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) program.
Develop a deep understanding of CWL systems and components to support system-level integration and qualification.
Generate and manage system-level documentation, including Hardware Configuration Item (HWCI) specifications and test methods.
Support the development of test equipment and procedures for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT).
Present technical recommendations and detailed design explanations to internal leadership and U.S. Navy customer teams.
Collaborate across engineering disciplines to resolve issues in system integration labs, production, or field environments.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment across design, testing, and qualification milestones.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field required.
5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required.
Prior experience serving as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on defense-related systems.
Familiarity with Navy development and shipboard qualification processes.
Understanding of the System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
Experience in system-level hardware testing, including Assembly Level Test, Unit Test, Integration Test, and System Performance Test.
Hands-on background in digital and/or analog hardware development and troubleshooting.
Ability to manage technical issues during system integration, field activities, and production phases.
Agile program experience is preferred.
Willingness to travel as required.
